The votim is the largest known kotim in the world. It governs the Isle of Vo, the island of telepaths along the western coast of the continent and is capable of making changes in the world due to the sheer weight of belief behind its rules and decisions.
Compared to most other kotims, it is several orders of magnitudes larger with trillions of decisions and rules imprinted into its memory. It acts as the centralized communication hub and knowledge base for the entire country.
Like most vanity memory addresses associated with the isle, the name starts with “vo” and is considered “in context” for almost every telepathic communication in the known world.
Physical Influence
The votim is remarkable in that the belief of its governance is capable of making physical changes to the world. In effect, this is the “magical” power of the telepaths as a decision is capable of rewriting terrain, erasing buildings, and even create elemental and reactional effects.
Decisions that affect reality do have a high barrier to accept into the votim. Mostly this is based on the Vogal Generation of the individual making decisions to accept a reality-altering decision. There already rules imprinted into the votim to ensure that more drastic or rapid effects require a minimum generation when making changes and accepting them.
